Job Description

As a Slug Press Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining slug press machines to produce high-quality slugs. Your role will be crucial in ensuring that all production targets are met while adhering to safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining accurate production logs and quality records.
• Assessing and rectifying machine malfunctions.
• Participating in safety and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Contributing to team discussions to improve production processes.
• Following directives from the Production Manager.

Requirements

Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Technical certification in Machine Operation or equivalent experience

Experience

• Minimum of 1 year of experience operating slug press machines or similar equipment.

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience in a manufacturing environment: Prior exposure to production floor operations.

• Familiarity with Six Sigma methodology: Ability to apply Six Sigma practices to improve quality.
• Experience with ISO 9001 standards: Conversance with quality management systems.
