Job Description

As a Marine Ecosystem Analyst, you'll play a vital role in researching and analyzing marine ecosystems to promote conservation efforts. Your responsibilities will include assessing data, reporting on environmental impacts, and collaborating with various stakeholders to implement effective marine management strategies. Ideal candidates will have a solid understanding of marine biology and environmental science.

Responsibilities

  • Lead marine ecosystem assessments using appropriate methodologies.
  • Create strategic initiatives aimed at ecosystem restoration.
  • Collaborate on research projects with universities and research institutions.
  • Involve in stakeholder meetings to discuss findings and impacts.
  • Write and publish scientific papers based on research outcomes.
  • Provide technical expertise in marine science to inform policy.
  • Support the development of educational resources about marine ecosystems.
  • Assist in training interns and volunteers in marine research techniques.
  • Evaluate existing policies related to marine conservation and recommend improvements.
  • Participate in conferences to disseminate research findings.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Marine Sciences or Environmental Management
  • PhD in related disciplines is a plus
Experience
  • Minimum of 4 years working in marine research or ecosystem management
