Home Health Aide

Job Description

We are looking for passionate Home Health Aides to join our Nottingham team. You will provide support with personal care, meal preparation, and companionship, helping clients maintain their independence at home.

Responsibilities

• Support clients with personal care needs, ensuring dignity and respect.
• Assist with household tasks such as cleaning and laundry.
• Encourage and facilitate client social engagement and activities.
• Monitor clients' health and wellbeing, reporting any concerns.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive care.
• Adhere to infection control protocols and health guidelines.

Requirements

Education

• NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care or equivalent

Experience

• 1+ years of experience in a care environment.

Technical Skills

• Medication Administration
• Basic First Aid

Soft Skills

• Patience
• Team Player

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Training in Dementia Care: Specialised training in dementia care or similar is beneficial.
• First Aid Training: Completion of a first aid training course is an advantage.
