Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Public Health Analyst to join our Birmingham team. The ideal candidate will leverage data analysis to support public health initiatives and improve community health outcomes. Responsibilities include collecting and analysing health data, developing reports, and collaborating with health professionals.

Responsibilities

  • Analyse health statistics to inform public health strategies.
  • Prepare reports detailing findings and recommendations.
  • Work closely with public health officials to implement projects.
  • Monitor public health trends and prepare briefs to update stakeholders.
  • Assist in developing evidence-based health interventions.
  • Conduct assessments to evaluate health needs in the community.
  • Support outreach efforts to increase community awareness.
  • Coordinate with various departments to further health initiatives.
  • Use data visualisation tools to present health data effectively.
  • Contribute to the design of new public health surveys.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field
  • Master's degree is preferred
Experience
  • 2+ years of experience in public health analysis or research
