Job Description

As a Mining and Geological Engineer, you will be responsible for managing, planning, and coordinating mining projects from inception through to completion. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in the assessment of geological risks and resource evaluation, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct geological assessments and feasibility studies.
  • Work closely with engineering teams to ensure project specifications are met.
  • Oversee drilling and extraction processes to ensure safety regulations are followed.
  • Assist in managing permits and environmental assessments.
  • Develop comprehensive risk management plans.
  • Lead technical discussions with stakeholders to ensure project alignment.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Support continuous improvement efforts and implement best practices.
  • Facilitate training for project teams on safety and compliance measures.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering or related field
  • Master's degree is a plus

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in mining or geological engineering
