Job Description

As a Woodworking Machine Setter, Operator, and Tender, you will be responsible for producing high-quality end-match timber products in a manufacturing environment. You will operate and maintain machinery, ensuring that the products meet quality standards while adhering to safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Set up and calibrate woodworking machinery for production runs.
• Conduct regular inspections of the machinery and products to maintain quality standards.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations while operating machinery.
• Assist in training new staff on machinery operations and safety protocols.
• Record production data and report on output to supervisors.
• Participate in continuous improvement processes to enhance production efficiency.

Requirements

Education

• Experience in carpentry or woodworking is an advantage

Experience

• No experience is necessary, as full training will be provided. However, relevant experience in carpentry, woodworking, or manufacturing would be an advantage.
