Job Description

We are actively seeking an Insurance Risk Analyst to join our Liverpool team. The successful candidate will have a strong foundation in actuarial science and experience in risk assessment within the insurance sector. This role involves analysing data to identify potential risks and recommending strategic measures to mitigate them.

Responsibilities

  • Assess and report on current exposure to financial risks within the insurance portfolio.
  • Identify and analyse trends that may impact risk profiles.
  • Collaborate with IT and data analytics teams to enhance risk assessment tools.
  • Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of regulatory requirements affecting risk management.
  • Contribute to the strategic planning process by providing risk-related insights.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, or a related discipline
  • Professional qualifications in actuarial science are an advantage
Experience
  • 2+ years of practical experience in risk assessment, focusing on the insurance sector
