Job Description

We are on the lookout for a detail-oriented Financial Analyst to support our financial planning and analysis activities in Edinburgh. This role will involve analysing financial data, preparing reports, and providing insights to guide decision-making. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance and excellent analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Analyse financial performance to identify improvement opportunities.
• Create and maintain financial dashboards and reports.
• Support the finance team in strategic planning initiatives.
• Review and analyse financial statements for accuracy.
• Assist in preparing presentations for stakeholders.
• Work closely with accounting to ensure accurate financial records.
• Implement best practices for financial analysis and reporting.
• Evaluate financial impact of business decisions and initiatives.
• Mentor junior financial analysts within the team.
• Participate in audits and provide necessary documentation.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Economics or Business Administration
• Additional certifications in financial analysis are preferred

Experience

• 4+ years of experience in finance-related roles
