Job Description
We are seeking a compassionate House Mother to provide care, support, and guidance to our residents in a safe and nurturing environment. In this pivotal role, you will foster a sense of community and ensure the wellbeing of our young adults.
Responsibilities
Support and guide residents in personal issues while ensuring their safety.
Plan and execute extracurricular activities that foster community.
Develop a rapport with residents to build trust and encourage open communication.
Liaise with educational staff to support residents' academic progress.
Encourage participation in house events and foster a spirit of inclusivity.
Address individual residents' needs and tailor support accordingly.
Engage in training relevant to safeguarding and student welfare.
Serve as the first point of contact for resident concerns and emergencies.
Requirements
Education
Previous experience in a similar role or youth care environment
First Aid Certification (desirable)
Safeguarding training (desirable)
Experience
Minimum of 2 years of experience working with young adults in a residential environment.
