Civil Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a knowledgeable Civil Engineer to join our Bristol team. The ideal candidate will have experience in designing, managing, and overseeing civil engineering projects from inception to completion. This role requires a strong understanding of structural design, project management, and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Lead project teams in the development and implementation of engineering plans.
• Monitor and report on project progress, compliance, and costs.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify project challenges and solutions.
• Utilise modern technology for design and analysis, such as CAD software.
• Provide technical advice and support during all phases of project lifecycle.
• Ensure quality control measures are in place throughout the construction process.
• Act as a liaison between various parties involved in the projects.
• Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies.
• Provide input on environmental and sustainability issues related to projects.
• Develop project documentation and project management reports.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
• Chartered Engineer status (CEng) is advantageous

Experience

• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in civil engineering
