Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Fish Culturist to join our dedicated team. The ideal candidate will manage fish populations, ensuring their health and well-being for both commercial and recreational use. Responsibilities include monitoring water quality, developing management plans, and collaborating with other professionals in the field.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee fish breeding and stock management.
  • Implement fish health monitoring protocols.
  • Ensure compliance with environmental regulations.
  • Facilitate training for new staff on fish culturing techniques.
  • Utilise water quality testing equipment to monitor aquatic ecosystems.
  • Collaborate with regulatory bodies on fisheries assessments.
  • Assist in the development of fisheries management strategies.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Fisheries Biology, Aquaculture, or related field
  • Relevant certification in Aquaculture is an advantage
Experience
  • 1-3 years of experience in fish culturing or aquaculture
