We are seeking an Environmental Data Analyst to join our team in Wakefield. The ideal candidate will possess a strong analytical mindset, with a focus on using data to drive environmental sustainability and solutions. Job Responsibilities
  • Analyse environmental data trends and patterns.
  • Support project managers by providing relevant data insights.
  • Work alongside cross-functional teams to integrate data into projects.
  • Use GIS software for spatial analysis of environmental data.
  • Prepare data visualisations and presentations for stakeholders.
  • Assist in the compliance and monitoring of environmental regulations.
  • Maintain data accuracy and integrity across projects.
Job Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Data Science, or related field
  • Master's degree is advantageous
  • Statistical Analysis Proficient in statistical methods and tools for data analysis.
  • GIS Software Experience using GIS for environmental data analysis.
  • Excel Advanced skills in Excel for data manipulation and reporting.
  • R or Python Strong programming skills for data analysis and visualisation.
  • Analytical thinking Strong ability to analyse complex datasets and derive meaningful insights.
  • Communication Exceptional communication skills for presenting data findings.
  • English (Fluent)
Advantageous
  • Familiarity with Remote Sensing: Experience using remote sensing technologies for environmental monitoring.
  • Certifications in Data Analysis: Relevant certifications in data analysis or environmental science are a plus.
