Job Description
As a Tool Maintenance Worker, you will be responsible for the upkeep and repair of various tools and equipment. Your role will involve inspection, cleaning, and executing necessary repairs to ensure tools perform optimally.
Responsibilities
Diagnosing malfunctioning tools and performing necessary repairs.
Collaborating with technicians to assess tool requirements.
Staying up-to-date with the latest tools and their maintenance needs.
Implementing preventive maintenance schedules and procedures.
Reporting any safety hazards or maintenance concerns to supervisors.
Assisting in sourcing new tools and equipment as required.
Maintaining a clean and organised maintenance workspace.
Filling out detailed reports on repairs and maintenance completed.
Participating in training sessions on new tools and maintenance techniques.
Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
Requirements
Education
Technical certification in maintenance or engineering
Apprenticeship in relevant field preferred
Experience
Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment is advantageous.
