Job Description

The Ovens Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the ovens department, ensuring that all products are baked to the highest quality standards. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a deep knowledge of baking processes.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of all ovens and manage troubleshooting as needed.
• Ensure optimal baking conditions by adjusting oven settings and temperatures.
• Enforce strict hygiene and quality control protocols within the baking area.
• Liaise with other departments to facilitate smooth production flows.
• Encourage a culture of teamwork and respect within the team and with other departments.
• Reduce waste and improve resource management to enhance profitability.
• Ensure proper documentation of production processes and maintenance logs.
• Facilitate performance reviews and feedback sessions for employees.
• Identify training needs and provide mentoring to develop team capabilities.
• Drive initiatives for energy efficiency and sustainability practices in baking operations.

Requirements

Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Vocational or technical qualification in food production or related field

Experience

• At least 2-3 years of experience in a similar role within the food and beverage industry.
