Job Description

As a Corn Grinder, you will be responsible for operating machinery to grind corn into various products. You will ensure that the equipment is running efficiently, maintain production schedules, and uphold the quality of the final products. Your attention to detail and commitment to safety will be key in this role.

Responsibilities

• Operate grinding machinery according to production requirements and safety standards.
• Monitor equipment performance and make necessary adjustments.
• Keep accurate records of production activities, including quantities produced.
• Perform routine cleaning and maintenance of equipment to prevent disruptions.
• Coordinate with quality control to ensure product meets specifications.
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding production issues.
• Assist in the training and onboarding of new operators.
• Participate in health and safety training sessions to enhance workplace safety.
• Support initiatives aimed at reducing waste and improving environmental performance.
• Actively participate in problem-solving discussions regarding machinery and processes.

Requirements

Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent

Experience

• Prior experience in a manufacturing or food production environment is advantageous.

Technical Skills

• Knowledge of food safety and hygiene

Languages

• English: Fluent
