Job Description

We are looking for a highly skilled Surgical Endoscopist to join our dedicated team. The successful candidate will perform diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures while ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the process. You will assess medical histories, interpret findings, and collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide top-notch patient care.

Responsibilities

• Conduct endoscopic examinations and procedures alongside a multidisciplinary team.
• Document patient information and surgical outcomes in accordance with healthcare regulations.
• Develop post-operative care plans for patients.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Participate in training and mentoring junior staff and medical students.
• Engage in continuous professional development to enhance surgical skills.
• Assist in research projects related to pediatric surgery.
• Manage patient follow-up appointments and necessary referrals.

Requirements

Education

• MBChB or equivalent medical qualification
• Postgraduate degree in Surgical Gastroenterology is advantageous

Experience

• 5+ years of endoscopic surgical experience with a focus on pediatrics.
