Production Coordinator

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Production Coordinator to manage the production process at our Sheffield site. This role requires excellent organisational skills and the ability to coordinate multiple projects effectively.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage production schedules and timelines.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Facilitate training and onboarding of new production staff.
• Analyse production data and provide reports to management.
• Define and implement production improvement initiatives.
• Work alongside the Production Manager to develop strategies for maximising efficiency.

Requirements

Education

• HNC or equivalent in a relevant field

Experience

• 1+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment

Technical Skills

• Lean Manufacturing
• ERP Systems

Soft Skills

• Problem-solving
• Teamwork

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience leading production teams: Demonstrable leadership experience in a manufacturing setting is beneficial.
• Understanding of Health and Safety Regulations: Knowledge of health and safety best practices in manufacturing is preferred.
