Job Description

We are seeking a knowledgeable Environmental Consultant to join our team in Aberdeen. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting environmental assessments, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with environmental regulations. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop sustainable projects that positively impact the environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee site investigations and monitoring activities.
• Draft environmental policy documents and frameworks.
• Support the development of sustainability reports.
• Engage with stakeholders and community groups.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of environmental management strategies.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of environmental regulations.
• Assist in the preparation of grant proposals for funding.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Management or related field
• Master's degree in a related field is a plus

Experience

• 4+ years of experience in environmental consulting or similar roles

Certifications

• ISO 14001 Lead Auditor
• NEBOSH Environmental Certificate

Languages
