Job Description

We are seeking a passionate Library Programs Officer to lead community-focused educational initiatives. You will be responsible for designing and implementing engaging programs for various age groups, promoting literacy and learning opportunities throughout Guildford.

Responsibilities

  • Lead initiatives to increase library patronage and community engagement.
  • Work with media and local partners to highlight educational programming.
  • Implement targeted outreach strategies to enhance library visibility.
  • Develop feedback mechanisms to understand patron satisfaction.
  • Manage program logistics, including scheduling and resource allocation.

Requirements

Education
  • Degree in Information Science, Education, or Social Sciences
  • Further qualifications in adult education preferred
Experience
  • 4+ years of experience in community or library services
