Job Description

As a Range Manager, you will oversee land management practices and ensure sustainable use of natural resources. Your role will involve collaboration with various stakeholders to enhance land conservation efforts while managing a dedicated team of specialists.

Responsibilities

  • Direct the implementation of conservation initiatives and environmental projects.
  • Engage with community stakeholders to foster positive relationships.
  • Assess land use impact and devise strategies for improvement.
  • Administer maintenance of equipment used for land management tasks.
  • Provide expertise in wildlife and forestry conservation methods.
  • Advise on best practices related to health and safety regulations.
  • Utilise GIS and other relevant technologies to analyse land data.
  • Monitor project progress and adjust plans as necessary.
  • Lead workshops and training sessions on land management techniques.
  • Ensure all activities promote sustainability and biodiversity.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field

  • Experience in conducting forest and wildlife habitat surveys and assessments
