Job Description

As a Cathead Operator, you'll be at the heart of drilling operations, responsible for operating cathead machinery. Your role will involve ensuring equipment functionality and adhering to safety standards while collaborating with the drilling team.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor drilling equipment during operations.
• Perform safety checks and ensure compliance with industry standards.
• Keep detailed logs of all operations and maintenance tasks.
• Assist in the training of less experienced operators.
• Work closely with other team members to ensure smooth operations.
• Report potential hazards to the supervisor immediately.
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues under pressure.
• Help develop and refine operational procedures.
• Ensure equipment is thoroughly cleaned after use.
• Participate in regular safety training sessions.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Technical certification in a related field preferred

Experience

• Prior experience operating cathead machinery in drilling operations.
