Job Description

The Sonic Driller is essential for operating and maintaining advanced sonic drilling equipment. This role requires expertise in extracting geological data to support exploration projects. The ideal candidate will work closely with a dedicated team to ensure safe and efficient operations.

Responsibilities

  • Operate sonic drilling rigs efficiently and safely.
  • Conduct testing and maintenance of drilling systems.
  • Facilitate the collection of geological data for analysis.
  • Administer the drilling process with attention to detail.
  • Mentor junior drillers and train staff on equipment use.
  • Conduct post-drilling analysis to evaluate performance.
  • Ensure that all operations meet industry standards and regulations.
  • Participate in planning and safety meetings to enhance operational procedures.

Requirements

Education
  • Relevant certification in Geotechnical Engineering

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in challenging drilling environments
