Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Hydraulic Miner to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of hydraulic mining techniques and equipment operation. This role involves executing mining operations, ensuring safety protocols are followed, and maximising mineral extraction efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Operate complex hydraulic mining machinery safely and effectively.
• Implement mining strategies that maximise mineral output.
• Maintain strict safety protocols and conduct regular inspections.
• Work closely with geologists to assess mining sites.
• Prepare and maintain detailed reports on mining activities and equipment status.
• Conduct training sessions for new operators and junior staff.
• Identify areas for process improvements and contribute to overall efficiency.
• Collaborate with environmental teams to ensure compliance with regulations.
• Assist in the troubleshooting of hydraulic systems.
• Further develop skills in remote-controlled mining equipment.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Certification in Environmental Regulations related to mining is a plus

Experience

• 4+ years of experience in hydraulic mining operations.
