Job Description

As a Pourer and Caster, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining equipment used in the pouring and casting of metal. This role requires a keen eye for detail and adherence to safety protocols to ensure high-quality production.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the operational readiness of casting equipment.
  • Engage in the pouring process while maintaining product quality.
  • Document daily production metrics and report to supervisors.
  • Collaborate closely with quality control teams to ensure standards are met.
  • Support training of new team members in pouring and casting techniques.

Requirements

Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Relevant vocational training is an advantage.
Experience
  • At least 1 year of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in metal casting.
Technical Skills
  • Understanding of steel manufacturing processes
  • Operational safety awareness
Soft Skills
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Physical stamina
Languages
  • English: Fluent

Advantageous

  • Previous experience in the steel industry: Hands-on experience within the steel manufacturing sector.
  • Forklift certification: Certification in operating forklifts safely and efficiently.
