Job Description

As a Mill Crane Operator, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of cranes to facilitate the movement of materials within our manufacturing facility. This role requires strong attention to detail, commitment to safety, and the ability to work collaboratively with production teams.

Responsibilities

• Operate cranes effectively while adhering to safety protocols.
• Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of crane machinery.
• Coordinate with team members to facilitate material movement.
• Accurately interpret operational signals and instructions.
• Document crane operation details and equipment inspections.
• Improve operational efficiency through continuous work method evaluations.
• Adhere to industry safety regulations and company policies.
• Train new operators in proper crane operation techniques.
• Assist in rigging and securing loads before transportation.
• Engage in ongoing training and safety workshops.

Requirements

Education

• Valid Crane Operator Certification

Experience

• At least 2 years operating cranes in a manufacturing environment.
