Pet Technician

Job Description

Join our team as a Pet Technician! You will play a vital role in the daily care of animals, engaging in various tasks from grooming to monitoring the health of pets under our care. A passion for animal welfare is essential.

Responsibilities

• Offer excellent customer service to pet owners and provide animal care advice.
• Help manage appointments and organize animal care schedules.
• Assist in handling animals during consultations and procedures.
• Conduct basic health assessments and report findings to the veterinarian.
• Ensure all equipment and supplies are stocked and ready for use.
• Participate in staff training and continuing education opportunities.

Requirements

Education

• Level 2 Certificate in Animal Care or equivalent
• Level 3 Diploma in Animal Care is an advantage

Experience

• Previous experience in an animal care setting preferred

Certifications

• Pet First Aid Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous
