Job Description

We are seeking a Sustainable Energy Systems Engineer to join our passionate team in Leicester. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in renewable energy systems, focusing on solar, wind, and energy storage technologies, to help design and implement sustainable solutions that are both economically viable and environmentally friendly.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate existing energy systems and propose upgrades or replacements.
  • Lead project teams in delivering energy-related projects from inception to completion.
  • Perform detailed calculations and simulations to support design decisions.
  • Engage with clients to understand their energy needs and challenges.
  • Prepare project documentation, including technical specifications and manuals.
  • Analyze data related to energy consumption and system performance for ongoing improvements.
  • Coordinate with regulatory bodies to ensure compliance with environmental standards.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science or related field
  • Master's degree in Renewable Energy or Sustainable Engineering is a plus
Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in developing renewable energy projects
