Test Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Test Technician to join our team. As a Test Technician, you will be responsible for conducting tests, troubleshooting, and repairing electronic components and systems. Your expertise will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and functionality of our products.

Responsibilities

• Conduct functional testing on new electronic products to ensure quality standards are met.
• Identify and modify testing procedures as needed to improve efficiency.
• Prepare detailed reports of test findings and suggest improvements.
• Assist in training new staff on testing protocols and equipment usage.
• Participate in product design reviews to provide input on testing requirements.
• Coordinate with suppliers for testing materials and equipment repairs.
• Organise regular maintenance and calibration of testing equipment.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot product issues.

Requirements

Education

• A minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent

Experience

• Experience in an electronics manufacturing environment is a plus.

Technical Skills

• Proficient in using electronic testing equipment

Soft Skills

• Strong analytical skills

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with RF testing: Hands-on experience with radio frequency testing and measurements.
• Knowledge of environmental testing procedures: Familiar with standards and practices for environmental compliance testing.
• Experience with automated test script development: Proficient in creating automation scripts for testing.
