Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Medical Office Administrator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing administrative tasks in a medical office setting, ensuring smooth operations and providing exceptional service to our patients.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee patient appointments, ensuring timely scheduling and communication.
  • Maintain an organized filing system for patient records and documentation.
  • Process insurance claims and follow up on outstanding payments.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to patients and their families.
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers to support patient care.
  • Implement office procedures to enhance efficiency and compliance.
  • Train and mentor new administrative staff as part of onboarding.
  • Assist with the management of medical supplies and equipment.
  • Handle correspondence and maintain professional communication standards.
  • Monitor and update the patient database regularly.

Requirements

Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Postsecondary education in healthcare administration preferred
Experience
  • 3+ years of experience in a medical office role
