Carpenter / Door Installer

Job Description

Join our dynamic team as a Door Installer. In this role, you will be responsible for tackling installations, repairs, and maintenance of residential and commercial doors. You should have a solid background in door installation and bring a customer-oriented approach to your work.

Responsibilities

• Review project specifications to determine installation requirements.
• Cut materials accurately to match measurements for door frames.
• Ensure all installed doors meet quality and safety standards.
• Provide technical advice to clients regarding door materials and options.
• Identify opportunities for efficiency improvements in installation processes.
• Train and mentor junior installers on best practices.
• Participate in ongoing training for skill development.
• Monitor inventory and request supplies as needed.
• Cooperate with other departments to achieve common goals.
• Handle client feedback and implement changes if necessary.

Requirements

Education

• Certification in Carpentry or related field

Experience

• 5+ years of relevant experience in door installation or carpentry.

Technical Skills

• Custom Door Installation
• Building Codes Knowledge

Certifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Carpentry and Joinery
• Forklift Operator Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
