Job Description

As a Tool and Die Maker at Precision Engineering Ltd., you will be crucial in repairing and maintaining various tools to ensure their optimal performance. The ideal candidate will have solid experience in mechanical maintenance and a keen eye for detail.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose issues and repair a diverse range of tools.
  • Dismantle and reassemble tools to process mechanical or electrical issues.
  • Maintain accurate records of repairs, parts used, and service history.
  • Support the maintenance team in improving repair processes.
  • Conduct quality checks on repaired tools and machinery.
  • Implement efficient working practices to maximise productivity.
  • Assist in training junior staff members.
  • Engage in continuous personal development to keep up with industry standards.
  • Actively participate in team meetings to discuss improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.

Requirements

Education
  • Formal training or certification in tool repair or engineering is preferred.
Experience
  • Relevant experience in tool making or maintenance is a must.
