Job Description

Join our Storm Monitoring Team as a Hurricane Tracker. You will monitor the development and trajectory of hurricanes, ensuring timely communication of critical information to both governmental agencies and the public.

Responsibilities

• Utilise advanced weather modelling software and GIS tools for accurate forecasting.
• Interpret complex meteorological data to inform decision-making.
• Develop and maintain relationships with external weather agencies.
• Participate in training sessions and workshops to enhance meteorological skills.
• Assist in public outreach efforts, explaining hurricane impacts and safety procedures.

Requirements

Education

• Master's degree in Meteorology or related field is preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of field experience in hurricane tracking or emergency management.
