Job Description

As a Motorboat Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining waterway control equipment, ensuring optimal water levels in rivers and lakes. Your role is crucial in preventing flooding and assisting in ecological restoration projects.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular inspections of waterway control systems and equipment.
• Adjust controls for optimal water flow and levels in lakes and rivers.
• Document maintenance activities and report on operational efficiency.
• Work closely with environmental consultants on project-specific tasks.
• Provide input during planning and execution of water management strategies.
• Stay updated on environmental regulations and compliance requirements.
• Lead small teams during specific operational projects.
• Engage with community stakeholders about water management initiatives.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Relevant technical training or certification

Experience

• 2+ years of relevant experience in water management or similar field.
