Laundry and Dry-Cleaning Workers

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Laundry and Dry-Cleaning Worker. In this role, you will operate various machines to manufacture high-quality cleaned garments while adhering to strict quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Operate shirt finishing machines to press and finish shirts.
• Inspect finished shirts for quality and conformity to specifications.
• Identify and report any quality issues or equipment malfunctions.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Follow safety procedures and guidelines.
• Assist other members of the finishing team as needed.

Requirements

Education

• No formal qualifications required

Experience

• 1-2 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing or textile environment

Technical Skills

• Industrial sewing machines
• Cutting machines
• Ironing machines

Soft Skills

• Attention to detail
• Good communication skills
• Problem-solving skills

Advantageous

• Experience operating industrial sewing machines: Preferably experience with various industrial machines and equipment used in the textile industry.
• Knowledge of fabrics: Understanding of different fabrics and their properties, including care and handling.
