Ethics and Compliance Officer

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Ethics and Compliance Officer to join our Glasgow office. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing compliance programs and policies, ensuring adherence to legal and ethical standards across the organization.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the implementation of compliance policies and procedures.
• Conduct risk assessments to identify compliance vulnerabilities.
• Serve as a point of contact for external audits and investigations.
• Lead efforts to educate employees about compliance topics and best practices.
• Ensure effective communication between departments to foster a compliance-conscious culture.
• Develop metrics to track compliance program effectiveness.
• Stay current with industry regulations and compliance standards.
• Participate in investigations and resolution of compliance-related issues.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Law, Compliance or related discipline
• MBA or MSc in Compliance Management is a plus

Experience

• 5+ years of progressive experience in compliance roles
