Job Description

We are in search of a Broadcast Operations Manager to oversee our broadcast operations in Rotherham. This role involves managing daily operations, ensuring the highest quality of broadcast quality, and leading a dedicated team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in broadcast technology and media management.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise the planning and execution of major broadcasting events.
  • Coordinate with technical teams to ensure all equipment is operational pre-broadcast.
  • Manage relationships with key stakeholders, including talent and external partners.
  • Monitor daily operations and implement strategies to improve efficiency.
  • Ensure all broadcasts comply with relevant legislation and broadcasting standards.
  • Assist in the development of new broadcast initiatives and programming.
  • Compile and present operational reports to senior management.
  • Oversee the recruitment and training of new broadcast staff.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Broadcasting or a related field
  • Graduate diploma in Media Management is a plus
