Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Minesweeping Officer to join our team. As a Minesweeping Officer, you will be responsible for detecting and safely removing mines, explosives, and other hazardous materials from designated areas. Your expertise will contribute significantly to the safety and security of marine environments.

Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed surveys for mine detection and clearance operations.
• Utilize advanced sonar systems and ROVs for underwater operations.
• Collaborate closely with naval forces and other sectors to enhance operational safety.
• Educate junior team members on operational protocols and safety measures.
• Compile detailed reports on operations for future reference and analysis.
• Adapt to rapidly changing conditions and make informed decisions.
• Engage in continuous training for skills enhancement and safety protocols.

Requirements

Education

• Seafarer's Training and Certification, as per international maritime regulations.

Experience

• Proven track record of successful minesweeping missions.

Technical Skills

• Expertise in sonar systems and GIS technology.

Soft Skills

• Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to remain calm in high-pressure situations.

Certifications

• Additional certifications in maritime navigation and safety.

Languages

• English: Fluent
