Job Description

As a Tour Guide at the Cultural Heritage Institute, you will be responsible for leading engaging tours that bring our exhibits and collections to life. Your passion for history and art will enhance the visitor experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead engaging tours that educate visitors about the exhibits, artifacts, and their historical contexts.
• Adapt tour content to suit the interests and ages of different visitor groups, including children and special interest groups.
• Maintain a safe environment for visitors, adhering to all health and safety guidelines.
• Contribute to the development and improvement of educational materials and tours.
• Stay updated on current museum exhibitions, research, and historical topics.
• Assist in organizing educational programs and workshops.
• Collaborate with museum staff to enhance visitor engagement.
• Handle any visitor inquiries effectively and ensure high satisfaction levels.
• Facilitate discussions on exhibits to promote a deeper understanding of the art and history.
• Encourage repeat visits by promoting memberships and upcoming events.

Requirements

Education

• A bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred.

Experience

• Experience in conducting tours and public speaking engagements is advantageous.
