Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Veterinary Surgeon to join our team in Exeter. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for animal care and a solid background in veterinary medicine. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing and treating various conditions in pets, performing surgeries, and educating pet owners on suitable care practices.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough examinations to assess animal health.
  • Execute surgical procedures with precision and care.
  • Provide nutritional and behavioural advice to pet owners.
  • Document all patient interactions and treatment plans.
  • Support the implementation of clinic policies and procedures.
  • Coordinate with specialists for advanced veterinary care when necessary.
  • Foster a welcoming and supportive environment for clients.
  • Engage in continuous professional development activities.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with local pet owners and the community.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Veterinary Medicine or related field
  • Membership to a relevant professional body is an advantage
Experience
  • 3+ years of experience in a clinical setting
