Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Ladle Patcher to join our team. As a Ladle Patcher, your main responsibility will be maintaining and repairing ladles used in the steel industry. You will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of ladles and contributing to the overall production process.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough inspections of ladles to detect any issues.
  • Execute necessary repairs, including the application of refractory materials.
  • Work alongside the maintenance team to oversee repair schedules.
  • Document all maintenance activities and ensure compliance with safety standards.
  • Utilise various hand tools and equipment proficiently in the repair process.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance ladle performance.
  • Train new staff members on ladle maintenance and repair techniques.

Requirements

Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Relevant certifications in ladle patching or similar field is preferred
Experience
  • Prior experience in ladle patching or a similar role in the steel industry is required.
