Job Description

The Threshing Department Supervisor will oversee the daily operations within the threshing department, ensuring that productivity and output quality are maintained. This role requires strong leadership and the ability to develop staff while promoting a safe working environment.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day operations of the threshing department.
  • Implement staffing and operational strategies to maximize output.
  • Ensure adherence to safety protocols and document compliance.
  • Provide training sessions and workshops for staff development.
  • Create and monitor departmental schedules while managing workflow.
  • Collaborate with logistics to manage inventory levels efficiently.
  • Perform regular audits to improve processes and reduce waste.
  • Address any operational issues promptly to minimize downtime.
  • Evaluate team performance and coach staff for improvements.
  • Prepare reports and updates for senior management.

Requirements

Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent
Experience
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a supervisory role in an agricultural setting, preferably in the threshing department.
