Job Description

As a Fish and Game Warden, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the protection and conservation of wildlife in your designated area. This position combines outdoor work with research and community engagement, making it ideal for passionate individuals dedicated to wildlife management.

Responsibilities

  • Enforce wildlife protection laws and regulations.
  • Conduct wildlife research and collect data for conservation planning.
  • Monitor wildlife populations and behaviour.
  • Respond to environmental emergencies, such as oil spills or natural disasters.
  • Collaborate with law enforcement to investigate wildlife crimes.
  • Promote public awareness of conservation issues.
  • Assist in habitat restoration and management.
  • Train volunteers and community members in wildlife conservation.
  • Develop educational materials and resources.
  • Participate in policy advocacy for wildlife protection.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Wildlife Management, Biology, or a related field
  • Advanced degree in a relevant field is preferred
Experience
  • 3+ years of experience in wildlife conservation or law enforcement
