Job Description

We are searching for a skilled Chemical Process Engineer to contribute to our cutting-edge projects in Leicester. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimising chemical processes while ensuring compliance with safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of new chemical processes from conception to production.
• Review and revise process designs for efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
• Coordinate with regulatory bodies to ensure compliance with standards.
• Generate reports and presentations to communicate process findings.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the engineering team.
• Assist in the training and development of junior engineers.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or equivalent
• Master’s degree in a relevant field is a plus

Experience

• 4+ years of experience in a chemical engineering role

Technical Skills

• Process Simulation
• Chemical Engineering Principles

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Knowledge of Six Sigma: Familiarity with Six Sigma methodologies for process improvement.
• Experience with Environmental Assessments: Experience in conducting environmental assessments and compliance checks.
