Job Description

We are seeking a Sanitary Landfill Supervisor to oversee daily operations at our landfill site in London. This role demands a keen focus on compliance with environmental regulations while effectively managing a dedicated team.

Responsibilities

• Ensure that all site operations comply with environmental laws and regulations.
• Train and develop landfill staff in operational and safety protocols.
• Compile reports on operational performance and compliance for management.
• Develop and maintain relationships with community stakeholders.
• Assist in environmental monitoring and reporting.
• Conduct regular inspections of facilities and equipment.
• Strategize for operational improvements and efficiency.

Requirements

Education

• Degree in Environmental Science, Waste Management, or related field
• Postgraduate qualification in Environmental Management is advantageous

Experience

• 3+ years in a supervisory role within waste management.
