Job Description

As a Rehabilitation Counselor, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with mental health conditions. You will provide counselling, develop treatment plans, and help clients build coping skills to lead fulfilling lives.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate clients' mental health needs and formulate treatment plans.
  • Conduct therapeutic sessions to facilitate recovery and skill development.
  • Engage clients in setting personal goals and objectives.
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers for comprehensive care.
  • Document client interactions and update records consistently.
  • Run educational sessions on mental health literacy and wellness.
  • Encourage peer support among clients for shared experiences.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field such as Social Work or Psychology
  • Licensure as a Counsellor or equivalent
Experience
  • Minimum of 1-2 years’ experience in mental health services
