Job Description

As a Heater Tender, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining heating equipment in an industrial setting. This role requires close attention to detail and compliance with safety protocols to ensure efficient operation.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the operation of heating systems, ensuring they are running smoothly.
• Document and report any issues with equipment promptly.
• Work closely with maintenance teams to schedule routine checks and upgrades.
• Implement energy-saving techniques to enhance efficiency.
• Conduct safety checks in accordance with industry standards.
• Assist in the training of less experienced personnel.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.
• Ensure all safety equipment is in good working order.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Technical certification in relevant fields is a plus

Experience

• Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is advantageous.

Technical Skills

• Experience with industrial heating systems
