Job Description

As a College Counselor, you will play a pivotal role in guiding students through their college application journey. You will provide personalized support to help students make informed decisions about their education and future career paths.

Responsibilities

• Guide students through the college application process, ensuring they submit complete and compelling applications.
• Assist in preparing students for college interviews and campus visits.
• Evaluate trends in college admissions and make recommendations to enhance student success.
• Conduct workshops for parents on supporting their children's college aspirations.
• Encourage students to engage in community service and extracurricular activities to bolster their applications.
• Provide insight on financial aid resources and scholarship opportunities.
• Create a supportive and safe environment for student exploration and expression.
• Participate in ongoing professional development in college counselling.
• Foster relationships with local colleges to facilitate student placements.
• Document and analyse student outcomes for program improvement.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
• Professional certification in college counseling is a plus.

Experience

• Experience working with international students is preferred.

Languages
