Job Description
We are on the lookout for a Records and Information Management Specialist (RIM Specialist) to oversee the organization and management of our records and information. Your role will be pivotal in ensuring that our processes comply with legal standards while facilitating efficient access to vital information.

Job Responsibilities
  • Evaluate existing records management policies and recommend improvements.
  • Participate in cross-departmental meetings to address records management needs.
  • Create training materials and conduct workshops for staff on records management.
  • Monitor compliance with records management policies and procedures.
  • Report on records management performance metrics to management.
  • Research and implement technology solutions for improved records handling.
  • Coordinate with external auditors during compliance checks.
  • Manage data privacy and protection compliance as it relates to records.
  • Establish metrics for measuring the efficiency of record-keeping practices.
Job Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Records Management, Information Science, or related field
  • Professional certifications in records management (e.g., CRM, IGP) are desirable
  • Record-keeping systems Proficient in managing both physical and digital records.
  • Electronic Document Management Systems (EDMS) Experience with platforms like SharePoint or FileNet.
  • Data Protection Regulations In-depth understanding of GDPR and its implications for records management.
  • Attention to Detail Meticulous record-keeping and compliance tracking.
  • Communication Skills Ability to communicate complex information clearly and effectively.
  • English (Fluent)
Advantageous
  • Project Management Skills: Experience managing records management projects from initiation to completion.
  • Training Delivery Experience: Ability to train staff on best practices in records management.
