As a Childcare Worker at our centre, your primary role will be to ensure the safety and well-being of children under your care. You will engage them in various activities aimed at promoting their social, emotional, and cognitive development.

• Ensure the safety of children during activities and in the play area.
• Organize and guide children in engaging educational games and activities.
• Assist in maintaining health and hygiene standards in the facility.
• Work collaboratively with other staff to promote a supportive team environment.
• Participate in staff training and development opportunities.
• Build positive relationships with children, helping them to feel secure and valued.

• Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent
• Basic knowledge of child development Understanding foundational concepts of child development.
• Basic IT skills Competent in using basic software and applications.
• Excellent communication skills Ability to communicate effectively with children and parents.
• Patience Ability to manage challenging behaviours calmly.
• Teamwork Experience in working collaboratively with a team.
• Valid First Aid and CPR certification
• English (Fluent)

• Additional qualifications in early childhood education: Formal education in early years teaching can enhance your skill set.
