Job Description

We are seeking a passionate Animal Rehabilitation Technician to join our team in Basildon. This role involves working closely with injured and ill animals, providing critical support in their recovery and rehabilitation. Ideal candidates will have a strong foundation in animal care and a commitment to enhancing the lives of our furry friends.

Responsibilities

  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by veterinarians.
  • Conduct enrichment activities to promote mental and physical well-being for the animals.
  • Assist in the assessment of animal conditions and rehabilitation progress.
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with safety standards.
  • Foster a compassionate and caring environment during all interactions.
  • Engage in community outreach to promote animal welfare.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Veterinary Medicine or related field
  • Higher diploma in Animal Rehabilitation preferred
Experience
  • 3+ years of experience in animal rehabilitation or veterinary practice
